Custom Built for the Contractor
Are you experiencing "maximum support"?

Probably the most useful purpose a CPA firm can provide a contractor is to assist the contractor in achieving the "maximum amount of necessary support" required to conduct business on a day-to-day basis. For example, does the contractor have a strategy designed to achieve the minimum amount of income tax liability possible, given the constraints under law? Do the contractor's percentage-of-completion financial statements enable the company to maintain the maximum amount of single and aggregate bonding limits? Do the financial statements allow the contractor to obtain the satisfactory lending facilities from it's bank? Do the owners have the necessary documents in place to ensure for minimal estate taxes when succession issues arise? Are procedures in place to maximize daily cash flow? Are the right hardware and software technologies in place to efficiently generate the requisite analysis tools?

If the answers to these questions are all "yes", that's great! It indicates a well managed contracting firm that has addressed the most important financial issues contractors face on a daily basis. If the answer is "no" to any of the questions, don't feel inferior to your competition. The fact is, most companies need help in some, if not all of these areas.

However, the answers to these questions do help define the contractors' potential success capabilities. One of the most pressing issues facing the closely-held contractor is ensuring a maximum level of support from it's consulting team members(CPA's, bonding agents, bankers, attorneys, etc). We can help you solve these issues at your firm by suggesting any of the following, based on your schedule and convenience:

  1. Have us in for a brief, but meaningful meeting to review your current financial status. We can talk taxes, bonding, borrowing, technology, or other issues most pressing to you.
  2. Choose to meet with us over breakfast or lunch, no obligations, just to get a "gut-feel" for each other.
  3. Come in and see us. Bring some basic documents for us to review, and we can give you a plan, including our price structure, right there.
  4. Call and request an example of our work. We would be pleased to forward a sample of our percentage-of-completion financial statements.

If you think we might be able to help your contracting company receive "maximum support", call us at 732-974-8717 to set up a no obligation visit.
