Pete, the firm's founding and managing partner, graduated from Montclair
State University with an accounting degree in 1981. Prior to establishing
the firm in 1990, Pete worked for the international Big Five accounting
firm of Ernst & Young as a tax manager. In addition, Pete was
also an audit supervisor with Amper, Politziner & Mattia, a
regional CPA firm with offices located throughout New Jersey. Pete
holds CPA licenses in both New Jersey and New York.
Pete's areas of specialty include construction accounting, estate
planning, and accounting career placement services.

Walt enjoyed a successful baseball career at Fairleigh Dickinson
University before taking a job with Ernst & Young upon graduation
in 1987. At Ernst & Young, Walt served in both tax and audit
capacities. Walt also worked as a corporate controller for a large
real estate firm in New Jersey. Walt joined the firm in 1992 and
was named a partner in 1996.
Walt's areas of specific interest are corporate and flow-through
entity tax planning and compliance, as well as corporate audit reporting.

Sean, a 1995 graduate of Ramapo College, joined the firm in 1997.
Prior to 1997, Sean worked for a small accounting firm in North
Jersey principally servicing the accounting needs of organized labor
unions. In 1998, Sean became a New Jersey Certified Public Accountant.
Sean's areas of specialty with Mcguigan Tombs & Company are
accounting for construction industry clients and servicing the construction
industry's technology needs. Sean is also heavily involved in corporate
and individual tax compliance.
